The workshop began with some solo didgeridoo playing by Mr. Blanasi. He introduced the "didamo" rhythm that is the basis of the style, and therefore the major point of the workshop.	Blanasi demonstrated solo animal imitations, such as "the lonely dingo, howling for its mate."
Then a few songs were demonstrated with voice.	At left is senior songman Jackie Nawilil.
